The term "hobnail" refers to the decorative raised bumps or knobs that adorn the surface of the glassware, resembling the shape of nail heads.

Hobnail glass originated from Europe and was initially produced during the Victorian era in the 19th century. However, it experienced a resurgence in popularity after World War II, particularly in the United States.

The fixture features a new UL Listed base. The piece has been cleaned and detailed and includes mounting hardware for a convenient installation.

Measurements: The fixture measures 6 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches wide.

Condition: The fixture features a new chrome-finished shade holder and a vintage glass shade. The shade is in good vintage condition and shows its antiquity with minor inconsistencies, including flea bites and minor chips on the fitter lip.

Electrical: The fixture uses a standard medium base socket. Use a 60-watt bulb. Bulb not included. Suitable for dry locations.
