The pendant kit is built for the person who has already found the shade.
This matte black pendant light kit was built for the person who has already found the shade and will not settle for hardware that almost works. The thick-wall brass medium base keyless socket is finished throughout in matte black, built the way pendant sockets used to be built. Around it, everything matches — a matte black 2 1/4-inch UNO shade holder, a braided black cloth cord, and a solid steel ceiling canopy that looks intentional rather than incidental. Any standard 2 1/4-inch fitter shade drops straight onto the holder.
MEASUREMENTS
The ceiling canopy is 5 1/4 inches in diameter. The total cord length is 96 inches and can be adjusted to length from inside the canopy. The UNO shade fitter opening is 2 1/4 inches.
ELECTRICAL
The socket is a medium base keyless type accepting standard E26 medium base bulbs. Bulb not included. Maximum wattage is 60 watts. Compatible with incandescent, LED, and CFL bulbs. Rated for dry locations only. This is a custom-assembled fixture and is not U.L. listed.
