This Art Deco frosted glass ceiling light brings period character and soft, diffused illumination to any room. The molded frosted glass shade features vertical ribbing, a beaded upper border, and stylized feather and fan motifs — hallmark details of 1920s and 1930s Art Deco decorative lighting.
The acorn-shaped glass shade gives this semi-flush mount ceiling light a graceful, sculptural silhouette. The solid brass fixture base carries a polished nickel finish for a clean, timeless look. An ideal ceiling light for hallways, entryways, kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms — anywhere a compact flush or semi-flush ceiling fixture is called for.The fixture is in used condition and has been fully serviced prior to sale. New components include a porcelain socket, wiring, wire sheathing, nickel thumb nuts, mounting bracket, and all installation hardware. The solid brass base has been polished to a nickel finish and thoroughly cleaned and detailed.
The frosted glass shade is in very good used condition. It shows minor manufacturing inconsistencies — a sand deposit and a couple of small seed bubbles in the glass — consistent with period production.This piece is subject to availability, as it is offered at multiple venues.
