MEASUREMENTS

The overall register measures 11 3/4 inches wide by 9 3/4 inches long by 1 3/4 inches deep with the louvers in the closed position. The grate face alone measures 11 3/4 inches wide by 9 3/4 inches long. The interior louver assembly measures 10 9/16 inches wide by 8 5/8 inches long by 1 5/8 inches deep.

CONDITION

Antique original, early 1900s. The register shows honest age throughout, including surface rust, oxidation, worn finish, old paint specks, and general wear consistent with its age and prior use. The damper lever and louver assembly are intact and present. The four screws that secure the grate face to the louver assembly are missing and will need to be replaced; standard replacement screws are available at most local hardware stores.
