2 1/4 (2.25) Inch Etched Purple Tinted Empire Cut Glass Shade
The vintage etched glass Empire-shaped shade has a purple hue indicating that manganese dioxide A.K.A. "Glass Makers Soap," was used in its production and exposed to UV light over time. The shade has been cleaned and detailed for your convenience.
Measurements: The glass shade is 5 7/8 inches tall, 3 5/8 inches at its widest point, and suitable for a 2 1/4-inch fitter base.
Condition: The etched glass shows minor inconsistencies, including a couple of seed bubbles in the light lavender hue glass.
