A custom solid brass center-post light fixture built the way the originals were: heavy castings, an open decorative frame, and a top finial made to carry a glass shade. This is the piece that finishes a ceiling fixture restoration properly, the part a dealer reaches for when a customer wants real brass and not a plated stand-in. The center post and frame are solid, unfinished, unlacquered brass, so the surface will age naturally into a warm patina, or polish back up bright whenever you want that fresh-brass shine. It comes newly wired with a porcelain medium-base E26 socket, built for hardwired ceiling installation, and ready to accept a compatible glass shade. Mounting hardware is included.
