In the 1950s and 1960s, lucite, an acrylic resin, became well-liked due to its versatility and aesthetic appeal. In addition, it is an excellent material for developing unique lighting schemes because of its transparency and glass-like qualities. Lucite is frequently found in geometric lighting design forms like spheres or cylinders to highlight the material's transparency.
The Lucite swag lamp boldly glows red, orange, amber, and yellow hues. The fixture has been cleaned and detailed and features a new antique brass finish chain, wire, pull chain socket guts, and installation hardware.
Measurements: The shade is 14 inches tall and 6 inches wide. The chain is 15 feet long. The cord measures in total 19 1/2 inches long.
Condition: The fixture has been restored with a new chain, wire, and pull chain socket guts. The fixture is in good vintage condition and shows its age with only minor inconsistencies.
Electrical: The fixture uses a medium base bulb. The bulb is not included. Suitable for dry locations.
