Semi-Flush Beaded Chain Ceiling Light. Vintage Glass Shade. New Light Fixture.
The semi-flush triple-beaded chain ceiling light fixture emerged with its earliest iterations in the 1920s through the 1940s. The beaded chain fixtures of this period featured bold patterns and almost always had enameled finishes in pinks, blues, greens, whites, bisque colors, or etched clear glass.
The light features a custom-made powder-coated fixture. The shade has a peach enamel finish with a repetitive garland pattern. The light fixture has been cleaned and detailed. It includes mounting hardware for convenient installation.
Measurements: The fixture measures 11 1/4 inches wide and 10 inches max height. The height can be adjusted a bit by setting the ball length on the ceiling side of the chain and then snipping off the excess beaded chain.
Condition: The fixture features a new porcelain socket, wires, wire sheathing, mounting bracket, brass thumb nuts, brass beaded chain, a creme-colored powder-coated finish, and installation hardware. The glass is in vintage condition and shows its antiquity with scuffs, pinholes, and wear in the peach-colored enameled finish.
Electrical: The fixture uses a standard medium base bulb. Use a 60-watt bulb. Suitable for dry locations. The fixture is custom and, therefore, is not U.L. Listed.
