In the 1920's porcelain fixtures found their place in American homes. The trend lasted until the 1950's when more metallic designs became in vogue. It's easy to see why the porcelain light fixture trend lasted so long. The fixtures are durable, almost completely immune to decay, and ever so beautiful.
