Semi-Flush Beaded Chain Ceiling Light. Vintage Glass Shade. New Fixture.

The semi-flush triple-beaded chain ceiling light fixture emerged with its earliest iterations in the 1920s through the 1940s. The beaded chain fixtures of this period featured bold patterns and almost always had enameled finishes in pinks, blues, greens, whites, bisque colors, or etched clear glass.

The fixture features a custom-made powder-coated fixture. The shade has an etched enamel finish with a repetitive tulip pattern. The light fixture has been cleaned and detailed. It includes mounting hardware for convenient installation.

Measurements: The fixture measures 12 1/4 inches wide and 10 inches tall. The height can be adjusted by setting the ball length on the ceiling side of the chain and then snipping off the excess beaded chain.

Condition: The fixture features a new porcelain socket, wires, wire grommet, mounting bracket, nickel thumb nuts, nickel beaded chain, pistachio powder-coated finish, and installation hardware. The vintage glass shows its antiquity with minor inconsistencies in the form of lines radiating from each three mounting holes on the glass. It is unclear if they are straw marks, fissures, or caused by glass manufacturing. Either way, it is minor and none structural.

Electrical: The fixture uses a standard medium base bulb. Use a 60-watt bulb. Suitable for dry locations. The light fixture is custom and therefore is not U.L. Listed.
