Antique Storybook Porch Sconce

Description: Unique porch light, an excellent example of storybook or fairytale design is more accurately called Provincial Revivalism which became popular in California in the 1920s and 30s from European influences during WWI. Some of the unique qualities of Storybook architecture is the lack of straight lines and an antique organic peasant style to many of the design elements.

Measurements: The fixture is 8 inches wide, 9 inches tall and protrudes 8 inches from the wall.

Condition: The fixture features a new porcelain socket, wires, mounting bracket, thumbnut, 30-watt radio bulb, and installation hardware. The customized bubbly glass shade is not original to the piece.

Electrical: The fixture uses a standard medium base bulb. Use 60-watt bulb Suitable for dry locations.
